An Amazing Announcement!

It's General Conference weekend.  For those of you who may not know...the first weekend of October is General Conference weekend for church.  A time when we get to spend a lot of time together as a family watching 8 hours of church (over 2 days) via TV.  I love conference weekend and always look forward to it.  We gather at Mom and Dad's with Jeremy's Dad to listen to the Prophet and other General Authorities.  They counsel us on things that are important for us at this time.  Did I say how much I love it!  I do.  Well, at the morning session today President Monson started by reporting on the many temples that have been announced and are in the process of being built.  Then he proceeded to say that he was announcing 5 new temples.  Then the spirit overcame me and I felt it coming....he continued.  Portugal, Indianapolis, Indiana and he continued announcing 3 other temples, but honestly, I didn't hear him.  I was crying (tears of joy) and SO excited.  Since then I have reflected upon my temple experiences.  My first experience was attending the Washington DC Temple (yep, this was the closest one at the time) when I was 5 years old, to be sealed eternally to my family.  Next comes Chicago, IL.  There I have many fond memories of going as a youth to do baptisms.  Then, when it came time for me to make further covenants with my Father in Heaven this is where I went (still the closest temple at the time).  Next came marriage.  Jeremy and I chose to be sealed in the Washington DC Temple because of the special memories I have there with my family.  We also contemplated going to Salt Lake City, UT since that is where Jeremy's parents were married and sealed (which was the closest temple at the time they were married).  Then, 10 years ago, the Louisville, Ky temple was dedicated.  I remember it was amazing!  I was blessed to be a tour guide during the temple's open house, and it was amazing.  Jeremy and I began going there often as well as attending with the youth.  Then 3 1/2 years ago we were blessed to take Lindsey there and be sealed together as an eternal family.  Oh what a wonderful day that was.  Which brings me to today....with the announcement of a temple in Indy.  I have a very difficult time expressing my emotions....that is other than tears of joy.  It is something that has been anticipated for a VERY long time and is a HUGE blessing!  Oh, what a feeling!
