We were VERY BLESSED this year with a bountiful harvest from our garden. We were overwhelmed with zuchinni, yellow squash and tomatoes.
In the forefront is a massive tomato plant. Yes, that is really ONE plant. In the background are some of my beautiful giant sunflowers.

We also harvested several beautiful watermelons and....
cantaloupes.
We were pleasantly surprised with more green beans than we expected and so I did one of my favorite things....canned them. Yeah, I know, I'm wierd. There is just something about spending a lot of time breaking the beans (by the way...thanks to my dear friend, Elise, for spending the day helping me. I am grateful, and had a wonderful time), washing them and canning them. I always feel like I accomplished something important when I stand back and look at all the jars. Oh, what a feeling!
Our little farm girl (or "farmer girl" as she says it was a very good helper in the garden this year. She loved being an active part of it and it was fun seeing her learn and explore. Oh, how my heart is full.
Some yummy corn.
A cute picture of Lindsey and Sally going down the slide. I couldn't resist including it.
